I'm easily distracted.

As a result, I work offline as much as possible. I work on development ideas on paper first, then I do as much of the implementation without connecting my computer to the Internet. To make it easier to stay offline, I do not setup the wifi on my main computer and I use a phone for tethering. When I need to focus, I put my tethering phone in a different room.

I am not on social media.

The books that I found the most helpful on this topic are:

  • Stolen Focus by Johann Hari
  • Deep Work by Cal Newport
  • Atomic Habits by James Clear
